During these uncertain times, we would like to assure you that we are
committed and fully prepared to continue to deliver the highest quality services
and outstanding customer support for which we are renowned.
Throughout the unfolding of the Coronavirus outbreak, Pendylum has been proactively undertaking steps to protect both the health of our employees and our ability to ensure business operations are fully maintained.
Several years ago, as good corporate citizens, our company embraced an optional work-at-home policy as part of our green initiative in an effort to minimize the environmental impact of commuting.
Now we believe it is our duty to extend this policy in an effort to reduce community transmission of the coronavirus by requiring that all employees who can successfully perform their work remotely should do so. All necessary technologies are in place to facilitate this mandate, including screen sharing, secure file transfer and video/audio conferencing. All employees have also been advised to practice the preventative measures outlined by the Canadian government.
With our dispersed workforce, we are in an excellent position to provide uninterrupted customer support should there be an outbreak of COVID-19 cases in a particular area. In addition, key employees and roles have been identified and cross-training has been achieved to maintain the ongoing delivery of critical services to our customers.
Significant preventative and precautionary measures that have been implemented include the following:
- All employees who are able to perform their work remotely have already begun to do so.
- Identification and cross-training of critical employees and functions has been achieved and back-up resources have been defined.
- Employees have been advised to cancel all non-essential travel, both domestic and international and we will continue to monitor the situation.
- Employees who feel ill are encouraged to stay home, advise their manager and consult a health professional immediately.
We are monitoring this global event closely and will continue to take every possible course of action to protect the interests of our valued customers and staff. Further updates will be issued as needed.
Please contact your Pendylum support representative if you have any questions.
